Open Enrollment for Voluntary Benefits Program - Allstate at Work
We have adjusted the time of open enrollment for our Voluntary Benefits Program. Instead of December for a January 1 effective date, we have moved open enrollment for these plans to September and October, with a November 1 effective date. By avoiding year end, we hope to make this a more convenient time for you and your employees. Our Insurance Representatives will be contacting you to arrange a convenient time and place to meet with your employees, explain these benefits and give them an opportunity to acquire them if they so desire. New Limited Medical Plan for Clients that do not have a major medical insurance
Because medical expenses can be devastating to the uninsured, we have researched some alternative plans. In an effort to provide our employees with some measure of protection from unexpected medical expenses, we will begin offering a limited accident and sickness plan through SRC, an Aetna company. This plan is only available to employees of clients that do not offer major medical, as we do not want to jeopardize participation in the major medical plans. Sedlacek Insurance Services will be contacting clients in August. The plan effective date is September. A summary may be viewed below.
